Terms of Sale

1. Scope

These Terms of Sale (hereinafter the « Terms ») govern all distance transactions concluded through logimind.org, between:

The buyer: any natural or legal person, consumer or professional, placing an order on the site.

Any order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. The publisher reserves the right to amend them at any time; the applicable Terms are those in force on the date of the order.

2. Products

Logimind distributes the works of Édouard de Boysson in four independent formats:

  • PDF — downloadable e-book, readable on all compatible devices;
  • Paperback — physical book, soft cover, print-on-demand;
  • Hardcover — physical book, rigid cover, print-on-demand;
  • Kindle— digital format distributed by Amazon.com Inc. (the button redirects to the Amazon listing; the purchase is not concluded with SARL SALOMON 31).

Each format carries a distinct ISBN, displayed on the book's page.

3. Prices

Prices are expressed in euros (€) inclusive of all taxes. Applicable VAT is the one in force on the date of the order: 5.5 % for paper books, 5.5 % for e-books which have a commercially available physical equivalent (art. 278-0 bis of the French General Tax Code), 20 % for digital content without a paper equivalent.

Shipping costs for physical books are shown in the cart before checkout. No payment-method surcharge is applied.

4. Order

The order becomes firm and final upon effective payment. A confirmation email is sent automatically to the buyer within minutes. Any dispute regarding the order must be reported within 48 hours to edouard@de-boysson.com.

5. Payment

Payment is made in full at the time of ordering, by credit card, via the secure platform Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. No complete banking data is stored by the publisher. The information exchanged is encrypted to PCI DSS standards.

6. Delivery

6.1 Digital delivery (PDF)

The download link is sent by email immediately after payment confirmation. It is valid for 7 days and allows up to 5 downloads. In case of difficulty, contact edouard@de-boysson.com: a new link will be issued free of charge.

6.2 Physical delivery (paperback, hardcover)

Physical books are printed on demand by a European partner. The printing and shipping time is 7 to 14 business days from the order. A tracking number is provided upon dispatch.

In the event of a delay exceeding 30 days not attributable to force majeure, the buyer may request cancellation of the sale and a full refund, in accordance with article L. 216-2 of the French Consumer Code.

7. Right of withdrawal

Digital book (PDF):in accordance with article L. 221-28 13° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium, the performance of which has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and express waiver of the right of withdrawal. The buyer expressly consents to the immediate execution of the download upon receipt of the email containing the link.

Physical book (paperback, hardcover): the buyer has a period of 14 daysfrom receipt to exercise the right of withdrawal, without justification (art. L. 221-18 of the French Consumer Code). Notification must be sent to edouard@de-boysson.com. The book must be returned in its original condition within an additional 14 days. Return costs are borne by the buyer. The refund is issued at the latest 14 days after the returned book is received.

8. Legal warranties

Products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (art. L. 217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and against hidden defects (art. 1641 of the French Civil Code). Any request must be made to edouard@de-boysson.com.

9. Intellectual property

The purchase of a book, regardless of its format, does not entail any transfer of intellectual property rights. The buyer receives a strictly personal and non-transferable licence of use. Any reproduction, public disclosure, redistribution or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited and may engage the civil and criminal liability of its author.

10. Personal data

Data collected as part of orders and newsletter subscriptions are processed in accordance with the privacy policy.

11. Consumer mediation

Pursuant to articles L. 612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer buyer may, after a written complaint has remained unanswered for two months, apply free of charge to the consumer mediator appointed by the publisher:

Pursuant to article 14 of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform.

These Terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable settlement, any dispute shall be brought before the competent French courts.
