Chromotherapy (Color Therapy)

Chromotherapy posits a therapeutic action of light and colors, an idea running through more than three millennia of medicine (Egyptian solar temples, Avicenna). The author distinguishes a strictly physical order (each wavelength of the visible spectrum, 380-780 nm, carries its own energy) from more speculative registers. He clearly separates the scientifically validated branch — psychiatric light therapy (seasonal affective disorders, circadian rhythms), neonatal phototherapy, photobiomodulation — from Ghadiali's esoteric chromotherapy.
